Job description
We are experiencing exciting growth and as such we are seeking a Video Editor/Quality Control professional to join our dynamic team at Grip. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional editing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of post-production processes.
As our Video Editor/QC, you will be responsible for replacing VFX shots in final masters, collaborating closely with project managers and VFX supervisors, and addressing issues related to colors, video, and audio to achieve exceptional visual aesthetics.
What’s Grip?
As INDG's software branch, Grip is an end-to-end content automation platform that generates infinite ad variations by combining CGI, rule-based generative AI, and post-production into an easy-to-use automated content generation platform that transforms master ad creatives into endless variations—empowering brands to scale content production globally without compromising on quality or brand consistency.
Grip works by taking master content supplied by brands or their agencies and converting it into a deeply modular configurator. This allows marketers to create their own visual adaptations and variations effortlessly, saving millions in production costs while maintaining brand consistency.
What will you do?
Download and manage master files from vendors, perform thorough quality checks, and upload approved files to internal servers. Create MP4 versions for quick reference and access.
Replace VFX shots in the final master edit, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
Edit and create cut-downs and social media crops from the master edit (e.g., 9x16, 1x1, 4x5), tailored to platform-specific needs.
Collaborate closely with project managers, VFX supervisors, and other team members to ensure alignment and achieve creative goals.
Identify and resolve issues related to color grading, video quality, audio balance, and overall visual consistency.
Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and evolving editing techniques to maintain a high standard of work.
