Job description

Please note, this listing is not for an immediate open position but for our Talent Pool for Video Editors.

Grip is building the infrastructure for enterprise content production—turning static master creatives into scalable, high-quality outputs through automation, AI workflows, and modular design systems. This role sits at the intersection of creative intent and production reliability.

As a Video Editor, you’ll create final edits and market adaptations, making sure every version keeps the quality, creative direction, and brand standards of the approved master. You’ll work with large volumes of content and prepare assets for automated delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Replace VFX shots in final edits, checking timing, alignment, and consistency.

  • Create cutdowns and adaptations that preserve the story and visual style.

  • Resize and reframe videos for formats such as 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5.

  • Check every delivery for video, audio, colour, and VFX issues, including single-frame errors.

  • Fix or flag colour mismatches, compression issues, audio imbalance, and render errors.

  • Export assets to the correct broadcast, social, and web specifications.

  • Receive, check, and organise master files from vendors.

  • Transcode files using the correct codecs, formats, and colour spaces, and create MP4 review files.

  • Follow and improve editing and quality control workflows, finding solutions that can be applied across many versions.

  • Prepare assets for automated pipelines and distribution.

  • Work with project managers and VFX supervisors, apply creative feedback, and flag issues early.

  • Act as the final quality check before assets enter production systems, ensuring deliveries are ready to use and on schedule.
